RLD Series Product Update

Exciting changes are coming to the Juno RLD Retrofit LED Downlight Series. Today we wanted to let you know about the transition to the next generation of the RLD that will begin in December 2020 for select SKUs.

All the great RLD construction features and “below the ceiling” look will remain unchanged. What has changed is the technology driving the product, allowing us to provide an upgraded, more efficient retrofit design. For the California market, this upgrade also allows us to meet the requirements of the California T20 program.

Given this technology upgrade, we will be changing the catalog numbers for the RLD product from the current G3 designation to a G4 to minimize the mix of generations in space. This will be a phased transition over the coming months as the current G3 SKUs are depleted. The following three SKUs will be transitioning first to the next generation.

As a part of the RLD product review and upgrade, some models of the G3 RLD will be discontinued and not offered going forward in the series. The items being discontinued are viewable in the link above.

The RLD series retrofit family continues to provide a great value with a distinct feature set and offers the next step up from our E Series platform.
