Indy™ Multi-Spot Discontinuation
October 21, 2024
It is with much regret that today we announce the discontinuation of our Indy Multi-Spot® offering. First introduced in 2009 as innovative industry-leading incandescent recessed multi-lamp fixtures, over time evolving through ceramic metal halide and eventually LED technologies, these products were a staple on retail lighting specifications over the past 15 years. The items being discontinued include MSS30 Series, MSSH30 Series, MSSR30 Series, and MSSRT30 Series products. Note that a few customer-specific Multi-Spot Specials will still be offered as special-order items but, for the remainder of the standard offering, customers will need to select comparable models from the Indy Designer Cove™ multiples offering. We will continue to accept orders for the above discontinued series thru 10/31/24 (TBD) as on-hand components allow.
At this time, we are also rationalizing the Indy Designer Cove™ multiples offering, eliminating some of the infrequently specified configurations. The Designer Cove options being discontinued include:
- 97CRI & SW CRI options
- DALI driver option
- F, CP, NL, NLH, & BLF options
Eliminating these seldom-ordered configurations will enable us to better service our customers moving forward.
Finally, we are happy to announce that we are adding a very popular multilamp fixture Special to our standard offering. The DCS16N 3LH was designed for a specific customer who desired the quality and aesthetics offered by our popular Indy Designer Cove family, but with a smaller light source in a smaller fixture footprint. Currently only offered in a 3-lamp configuration, this exciting new product features:
- Up to 1500 lumen output per head
- Shallow profile – less than 5″ tall – and only 13-5/8″ x 4-3/8″ aperture
- 2-position vertical yoke adjustment allowing for the fixture head to be extended below the ceiling
- Standard MVOLT 120-277V operation
- Above ceiling and below ceiling driver access
The DCS16N 3LH is available for order today and all product information can be found on the Acuity website.
