Wall Switch Price Increase 

As we continue to drive customers to our preferred solution of aesthetically updated wall switches, we will be executing strategies to de-emphasize the use of legacy wall switches and continue to increase the adoption of the new wall switches.

Effective April 30^th, 2021, we will be increasing target pricing for legacy wall switches as follows:

• • nLight (Wired+Air):
    • nPODM Family: 15% Increase
    • nWSX Family: 15% Increase
    • rPODB Family: 15% Increase
    • rPODL Family: 15% Increase
  • SensorSwitch: 
    • SPODMRD Family: 15% Increase
    • WSX Family: 15% Increase
    • PTS Family: 15% increase
    • SPODM Family: 15% increase

Pricing for all aesthetically updated wall switches (i.e. those with “A” in the nomenclature) will remain the same.

How we will execute the pricing change:

• • System target pricing will be updated in Agile as of Monday, May 3rd, 2021.
  • All quote requests that we receive prior to the close of business on April 30^th, 2021 will be quoted using the old pricing. Please submit any quote requests that you have via Agile prior to that date.
  • Agent‐created quotes that are entered into Agile prior to the close of business on April 30^th, 2021 will get the old pricing.
  • Acuity‐created quotes must be imported into Agile by the agency before April 30^th, 2021. Please work with the AQD or your Acuity Customer Service Rep if you need assistance in importing XML files into Agile.
  • We will need to leave old pricing in place in Agile until our quotations group can process all quotes requested before the cutoff, so new price levels will not be visible until later in the week of April 30^th, 2021. We can only ensure old pricing for jobs that meet the requirements in the bullets above.

 Frequently Asked Questions:

• • Will an Agile “auto-convert” be put in place to switch from legacy switches to those with the new aesthetic?
    • No, we do not plan on implementing an auto-convert Orders will continue to be processed as entered.
  • How long will you plan to offer the legacy aesthetic switches?
    • Given the need to support existing projects and specifications and multi-phase projects, we expect to continue offering the legacy switch aesthetic mentioned above for approximately one year.
