The New IOTA® ILBLP 20-Watt Emergency Driver Brings Self-Diagnostics and High Lumen Output to 55-200VDC LED Luminaires
The new 20W emergency driver from IOTA® combines critical, patented constant power emergency output and convenient self-testing/self-diagnostic capability for high-bay and elevated non-class 2 fixture designs. The ILBLP CP20 HE SD HV delivers 20 watts of non-diminishing emergency power to operate LED array systems with a higher forward voltage of 55-200VDC, commonly found in high-ceiling fixture applications.
The 20W constant power output equates into increased lumen performance (2000 lumens for 100 lm/w efficacy luminaires) for raised fixtures, making the non-diminishing light output ideal to getting optimal emergency egress lighting from these higher installations. Additionally, the automatic self-testing/self-diagnostics capability brings valued convenience by conducting the monthly and annual testing required by the Life Safety Code.
The self-diagnostic feature allows facility owners to avoid the unique challenges that come with manually testing these high-bay and raised fixtures. Self-diagnostic test results are communicated via a flashing illuminated test switch/charge indicator that can easily be installed up to 25 feet from the fixture.
Other added benefits of the IOTA ILBLP CP20 emergency driver include: ‘low profile’ technology to dramatically reduce size and weight by 20% when compared to standard profile designs, dual-flex and single flex mounting options, and registration in the Modernized Appliance Efficiency Database System (MAEDBS) as a small battery charger to meet CA Title 20 energy performance criteria.
