REMINDER: I-Beam® IBG Nomenclature Change Notice
Beginning 7/9, we are making changes to the driver nomenclature of I-Beam® IBG high bays. We are moving away from OZ10 driver nomenclature to GZ10. We are doing this to stay consistent with nomenclature standards throughout the company and maintain supply chain flexibility. We are committed to only offering drivers from Tier 1 suppliers in the IBG, as we always have. Our hope is to cause minimum disruption to you and to our distributors. We have taken measures to make this transition as painless as possible.
Please make sure your customers are aware of this change and update their systems as necessary
What you need to know:
- Auto-conversion from OZ10 to GZ10 begins on 7/9
- In house orders – will manually convert 7/9
- CI codes and UPC codes will not change
- Nomenclature will change
- Short nomenclature stock SKU’s will not be affected – they do not contain driver nomenclature
- Standing quotes – concerns please contact AQD
- New orders and quotes – use the GZ10 nomenclature going forward.
