IBL LED Nomenclature Alignment – Industrial Product Update
The 219C LED chip upgrade on I-BEAM IBL announced in April 2016, increased lumen output up to 25%+, which caused actual Lumen Output to far exceed the corresponding Lumen Package. These changes allow us to achieve up to 60,000L out of the IBL! Nothing is physically changing to the product today. These lumen output levels have been in place for some time, but market feedback has indicated that we need to align lumen output and nomenclature, which we have recently completed.
Beginning July 6, 2016, the spec sheet and ordering information will be updated so that the lumen packages and lumen output are aligned, and match. The $/delivered lumen will not change from today. All orders entered prior to July 6 will be fulfilled as ordered. Any orders after July 6 will be fulfilled with the new lumen package, so please make sure you are using the latest IES files and Performance Chart on the spec sheet.
For replacement orders for IBL fixtures already installed in the field, product/tech support has been provided documentation to provide the closest matching fixture.
