Update on Production of Peerless OPEN

Great news! Peerless OPEN suspended and surface mount luminaires are now back in production.  Open was temporarily suspended to address and correct quality issues with our vendors and manufacturing partners.  Our team has been working diligently to resolve all quality issues to deliver the precision the marketing expects from the Peerless brand.   As a result, the following measures have been implemented:Open-LED

  • Part specifications have been revalidated with all vendors
  • New standard work for the production process
  • A new quality control plan
  • More robust fixture testing protocols have been added

We have prioritized replacement orders and our lead engineer will be on-site to validate the early production runs.  Working with our supply chain partners, we will be cutting our current 20-day lead time to 10-days in January.  If replacement sample kits are needed, please contact the product manager at Kai.Jaffe@acuitybrands.com.  Thank you for your patience and continued support of our Open product family!
