Incandescent-Version LHQM Phase-Out

LHQMEffective June 1, 2015, the incandescent version of the LHQM will auto-convert to the equivalent LED version. Attached are the direct crosses for the LHQM. The LHQM LED delivers superior lamp and battery technology and offers the same spacing performance as the traditional LHQM. With LED lampheads and a Ni-Cad battery, the LHQM LED eliminates frequent lamp and battery replacements associated with traditional products which reduces maintenance costs and lowers the product’s total cost of ownership.

At the time of the auto-conversion, LHQM LED prices that are currently above the incandescent prices will be lowered to match the discontinued incandescent version. These price reductions will allow the superior LHQM LED to be offered for the same price as the incandescent crosses.

Please discuss this conversion with your customers and note that the LHQM LED product is compatible with the 9.6V remote heads (ELA Q L0309). The 6V remote heads used with the incandescent LHQM are not compatible with the LHQM LED. Because of this change, please review your customers’ remote head inventory  to ensure proper compatibility.

To continue ordering the incandescent version of the LHQM, you will need to include “OS” at the end of the nomenclature to avoid auto-conversion. Prices of the incandescent LHQM product will increase due to lower volume. The existing LHQM  will only be sold while supplies last.

Business will continue as usual with the auto-conversion allowing for a smooth transition from the LHQM to the LHQM LED. Any incandescent LHQMs ordered prior to June 1, 2015 will ship as ordered.
