Gotham HEQ Discontinued
Effective immediately, the Gotham Quartz Exam Light (HEQ) will be discontinued . We recommend the IncitoTM 6″ adjustable as an attractive alternative.
For exam and procedure rooms in ambulatory and inpatient medical environments, targeted, high-intensity illumination is required for visual observation and diagnosis. An asymmetric distribution that delivers high-intensity illumination onto the hospital bed, focusing more light onto the patient’s upper torso and head is a key element for such applications. As solid-state lighting technology evolves, it is now possible to deliver quality, directional lighting at high illumination levels using LED sources.
Today’s LED sources offer excellent color rendition and color stability, sufficient center-beam candlepower for critical task illumination and a reduction of shadows in the viewing area. These benefits are achieved at a competitive price, a fraction of the energy and maintenance burden of legacy quartz sources, and without the heat gain associated with halogen lamps. That’s why for clinical exam and procedure applications, we recommend the IncitoTM 6″ adjustable.
- Round and square apertures
- Nine lumen packages
- Four color temperatures
- Seven beam spreads
- Roughly 1/5 energy consumption of T4-quartz
- Full horizontal panning
- 0o– 40o vertical tilt
